How many pictures will we receive?
A.All of my sessions now include full digital galleries—no picking and choosing! Depending on your session type, you'll receive anywhere from 40 to 200 images, including a mix of color and black and white edits. I want you to have the full story of your session to treasure forever.
How should we dress for our family session?
A.I’m here to help with that! I offer full styling support and even help pick out outfit options for each family member during our consultation. I’ll send you inspiration and links so you feel confident and comfortable. The goal is to keep things cohesive while making sure everyone feels like themselves.
When should I book my session?
A.The sooner, the better—especially during busy seasons! I typically book 1–3 months in advance, and newborn sessions are scheduled based on your due date. If you're considering a session, go ahead and reach out so we can secure your spot and plan ahead.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
A.Totally okay—and honestly, that’s most people! My job is to make you feel relaxed and to gently guide you into natural moments. I’ll take care of the posing (and the un-posing!) so you can just focus on being present. I promise, you’ll leave feeling more confident than you thought possible.
When do you photograph newborns?
A.Newborn sessions are typically scheduled for when baby is between 7–14 days old. That sweet spot gives us plenty of flexibility while still capturing that cozy, curled-up newness. I’ll pencil you in based on your due date and we’ll finalize once baby arrives.
What are the session lengths?
A.It varies by collection:
Family - 1 hour
Newborn
Simplicity sessions are around 45 minutes.
Heart sessions are up to 1 hour.
Signature sessions can last 1.5 to 2 hours depending on what we’re capturing.
Newborn sessions are always baby-led, so we go at their pace with plenty of time for feeding, snuggles, and breaks.
Timeline?
A.After your session, you’ll receive a proofing gallery within 2–3 weeks. From there, you’ll select your favorites (or upgrade to the full gallery!), and final edited images are delivered shortly after. Need them quicker? Let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate!
Do you offer consult?
A.Yes! Every session includes a consultation—either in person or over Google Meet. We’ll go over what to expect, chat about styling, and talk through your vision. It’s one of my favorite parts of the experience because it helps everything feel personal and stress-free.
Can I upgrade my collection?
A.Absolutely! If you fall in love with more images than your collection includes (which happens often!), you’re welcome to purchase additional images or upgrade to the full gallery at any time.
Do you offer payment plans?
A.Yes! I offer flexible payment plans for all sessions. You can reserve your session with a retainer, and the remaining balance can be split into manageable payments. Just let me know what works best for you and we’ll make it happen!
